A photography lover - not necessarily a photographer.
At 17, I started to work with advertising and bought my first camera and my passion about photography has begun.
Since then, my passion, and my myopia, had photos published in books, newspapers, magazines, as well as in advertising campaigns.
I share almost everything on my instagram account, @gnunes - where I was, for three times, on Instagram's list of Suggested Users.
It gave me visibility, spam and more than 30k followers.

Saal Digital‘ Book
Saal Digital, a worldwide graphic production company, approached me with an exciting proposition: they wanted to introduce their services to the Portuguese market. They offered me a deal—providing one free book in exchange for a post on my Instagram. I happily agreed, and here's how it turned out, along with some additional photos I shared.Home Office Home

Photographer Gui Nunes is documenting, in each virtual meeting he participates in, what still breathes human in our distances, confinements, isolations. Photography as an exercise to perceive the exile of each person who, upon encountering mirror-screens, can still admire the faces of others just as our own face reveals itself to them through smiles, seriousness, distractions, and focuses.
"Home Office Home" is a preface work. Incomplete. Because we don't know when this ends. Because we don't know how this ends. Because we don't know if this ends.
It is an invitation to continue deeply seeing ourselves.
Even without knowing when, how, or if this ends.

#VoyeurDoEstendal
Back in 2012, an idea sparked within me to capture the essence of daily life in a distinct and charming way. I decided to photograph clotheslines, those humble yet culturally rich elements that adorn homes across Portugal. To share this endeavor, I coined the hashtag #voyeurdoestendal on Instagram.Today, I'm thrilled to see that the #voyeurdoestendal community has grown. A couple of friends from various corners of the globe have joined in the spirit of this project, embracing the art of "voyeurism" to celebrate the mundane yet captivating sights of clotheslines.
More than a hashtag
Some years later, it became an magazine cover - you can see the project here.
And an one meter frame on my friend Luciana Elaiuy’s wall. Unfortunately, I just have this low res reproduction, but you can see the original photo as well.
Outside
A personal serie shooted in Arrifana, Portugal. There, we forgot the ambitions, wishes and ways.Poem by my huge friend Matheus Maneschy.
We hear the echo of the human littleness waiting the goodwill of nature.
There, doesn't matter if you blow the wind.
And, in each wail, saltwater corrodes the time in that moment.
Peace destroys the rest of adored pain in dry land.
Because there, loneliness is all and all is enough.
This has evolved into a one-meter-long frame on the wall of a client's home.

Garrafeira Alfaia was arguably the finest wine bar in Lisbon. They approached me to handle their social media content, and it was both a delight and a significant responsibility to capture these images. For nearly five months, I had the privilege of enjoying the finest Portuguese wines alongside Pedrão, the owner and a dear friend. The Greenest Island
This is the result of 5 days on probably the greenest island on Earth: São Miguel, Azores, Portugal.
Sometimes I think I'm still there.
